Across the card double
3 year old filly Spring Run comfortably won the 1m6f handicap at Lingfield Park under jockey Charlie Bishop for owners the British Racing Club.
This daughter of Nathaniel, bred and owned by our long standing owner Rosemary Pease, looked a winner waiting to happen on the evidence of her recent runs but is still a leggy and immature filly so the hope is she can find some improvement as time goes on.
Meanwhile at Bath the four year old gelding Walk On Walter came good again when taking the feature sprint handicap narrowly under jockey Nicola Currie for owner Philip Simpson.
“Walter” has seen a steep rise in the handicap since joining us a year ago. He was a two time winner then rated 77 but in the 12 months with us he has won 5 races and reached a rating of 95 so we are very grateful to have him!
