Buckleberry wins on his first race in 2015 under our apprentice Ned Curtis for our established racing syndicate Berkeley Racing.

Buckleberry was a cheaply bought two year old winner last year but coming in to this season his handicap mark was not looking over lenient.  Ned’s 5lb claim was a big factor today and possibly just made the difference.  Ned is a very under rated rider and rode a polished race.

Buckleberry’s future is again in the hands of the handicapper and a little further might be experimented but this horse is a real trier and so popular in the yard
