Flat Preview 2015

 In Latest News

The start of Turf 2015 is upon us and we are much looking forward to building on the success of  our first two seasons in Lambourn.

Last year’s stable star ROYAL RAZALMA  has wintered well and is being aimed at one of the 1000 guineas trials. We simply do not know at this stage if she will stay 8f and do not
presume for a minute she is quite up to Classic race company but options are limited at this stage of the season for Group 3 winning 2yo sprinters!

We are short on older horses to represent us but last season’s revelation BALMORAL CASTLE seems well after his winter holiday and will hopefully be out in April. MONSIEUR RIEUSSEC
was not at his best last season but some foot surgery has hopefully put him in better shape for a good show this summer. PASAKA BOY is still recuperating from a pastern fracture
shortly after his Newmarket win last autumn but all being well he can resume normal training later this spring.

Plenty of last season’s two year olds were slow maturing types and were either lightly or unraced. SPARKS is an Elusive City French bred we like. RUSSIAN RADIANCE is a Paco Boy filly
to keep an eye on as is MAYBELATER, a Mount Nelson filly. VAN HUYSEN did not start racing until the winter but did win on his second start and starts handicapping life on a rating
of 73 so let’s hope he can continue to improve, as is very possible.

We have close on 25 two year olds. Again, many of those will need time so will not get going until later on. One or two are in some slightly faster work though and will hopefully
be launched in the first three months of the season. INTIMATELY (Intense Focus) is a colt going nicely. PINCH A KISS (Sakhee’s Secret) looks quite a sharp filly. TIZ HERSELF (Dandy
Man) is a tough filly we like. They all change so much at this time of year so watch this space!

Come and see them all at the Lambourn Open Day on April 3rd when the yard will be open 8.30am to 1pm.
