Two year old winner at Brighton

£2k purchase Groundnut won the 7f maiden at Brighton under a great ride from George Wood.  This came after a two month break for the horse following a gelding operation.  First time cheekpieces may have helped too but it was a nice win for his owner breeders Christopher and Jenny Powell in partnership with David Powell of Catridge Farm Stud.
