Winner at Bath

2 year old gelding Gorey Gold won the £30k novice stakes by over 4 lengths ridden by Trevor Whelan for owners Portlee Bloodstock.

This was his second ever run having finished a creditable 5th at Windsor last month in a similar event. We trained his grandmother Tinaheely and his half sister Corinthian Kid who was herself a winner at 2 and he comes from the same breeder as or stable stalwarts Sweet Reward, Two Tempting and Newfangled.
