Winner at Brighton

4 year old filly Brighton won the 8f apprentice handicap by half a length for owners Portlee Bloodstock ridden by Joe Leavy who was losing his claim in the process.

Brinton has been busy in 2025 having run 11 times and winning three races and only not picking up prizemoney twice so she has come good, albeit in her own grade, since an unpromising start as a youngster.
